Mistakes you've made while punting - close calls..?

Have you ever made an amusing error or some sort?
Just to get the ball rolling;

I used too see a girl in South Derby. She moved around a bit as she lived in various flats, but it was generally her home where we met. At one time she had a flat over a shop, you got there by a back stair that lead to the row of first floor flats. I hadn't been there before and the approach wasn't completely clear which flat. I used to always go in and get ready and then call out for her - that was always how we did it as she lived in different places, so I never got greeted by her at the door. That way of starting just suited what we got up to. She wore a lovely sexy outfit and would surprise me each time.

So on this occasion I saw a slightly open door, went in, walked down the corridor, saw the room, put my bag down, walked back to the entrance and used the loo, then back to the room, and then decided there weren't her things there and wondered if it was the right flat. It wasn't - just didn't feel right, so i picked up my bag and walked out, along to the next flat and went in where things proceeded usually.....

Good job I didn't stay in the first one as the owner would have heard my call of 'Ready' and come in to find me starkers and blindfold..... A close call, I told her, and we chuckled a lot about it.......

My first punt over 30 years ago - via a contact mag. No idea of the age, looks, services, or price before I got there! Arranged via a phone box call.

I arrived - price stated on arrival (silly expensive) so I got my wallet out and paid (a stack of cash left after paying and all my cards in there)

Then the punt turned into 2 (unattractive) women on the bed with me - main aim was to wank me off as fast as possible. They never even took their clothes off and I never even wet a finger! I went back to my car and only then, I thought about my wallet - yes it was still in my back pocket - but all the cash and cards had gone :scare:. Spent the first hour when I got home phoning the bank and credit card company to cancel - fortunately quick enough to stop any fraud on them.

Quite a few lessons learnt on that one!

I phoned because the ad said "call or text me". I think there was a linguistic error because she told me to text her.

I also didn't realise (I had never done this before) that they give the place number closer to the time.

To make matters worse the SP was on a tight schedule & couldn't fit me in, bollox

The second time there was no one in. I didn't feel quite so stupid when I discovered that the street name changed halfway along it, so there was a genuine reason for two number 19s.

The first time the door was opened by a large sized gorilla, I could see a woman doing the washing up in the kitchen with a little kid crawling around on the floor. He looked me up and down and growled out, "She's three doors down!"

The ground swallowed me up.

Biggest mistake I made was when a wg I saw in about 2016, came back with a complete new profile and photos and I didn’t realise it was the same wg when I contacted her in 2021.

Of course the worst happened

So walked in clutching my bum cheeks together and asked for the bathroom.

Quite a few years ago I was walking into a Wg's flat which was above a shop which sold electrical goods washing machines dryers vacuum cleaners etc, out of the corner of my eye I noticed someone I worked with in the shop looking at me, I swiftly changed direction walked into the shop chatted with my work colleague and walked out with a reconditioned vacuum cleaner.

Visited a WG on a new estate. The block names were very confusing. Rang the entryphone bell and was buzzed in. The flat door was answered by a middle aged lady who invited me in - so far, no alarm bells. But then she showed me her washing machine, thanked me for getting there so quick and started to explain what was wrong with it.

Thought quick! Said they had sent wrong person and I would get someone else for her. Found the right flat for the punt and when I was leaving a guy in a van that said 'Domestic Appliance Repairs' pulled up so guess all ended well.

Left home with 20% battery, hoping I was going to be ok as the punt was 25 mins away, I get to the wgs flat, text im here, just as she was about to text flat number, phone died.

Paid 220 to a girl touring Glasgow from Aberdeen for an hour.

After 15 minutes she passed out due to the day before and being exhausted, so I just left.

She called me later that day apologising profusely saying that's never happened before and she didn't feel right so wanted to give me a free hour when she was back.

Lo and behold she was back last month and when I queried she has no recollection of me or what happened and would never offer a free booking, which just makes it seem she must do this kind of thing all the time as surely remember the one off you would.

And of course the negative feedback I leave on the profile never gets displayed. Leaves a poor impression on the other girls and the site in general

makes you suspect whether that she "passes out" 15 minutes into every punt
