We are often looking for more than just sex, company as well. So with dinner dates we obviously expect to pay for the meal and the sex time. But is the expectation to pay her hourly rate for her meal on top ?

Yes. Escorts sell their time, what you do within that time is immaterial. Some will offer social rates or dinner/date packages though.
