I asked in the past about deposits and watsapp but everyone fixated on the deposits debate and mostly ignored the other issue:
It is my usual policy to rule out anyone who asks to be contacted by way of watsapp but did I dream that that is a red flag and I'm missing out?

Why is Whatsapp a problem with communication and a red flag. Majority of my clients use Whatsapp and my other colleagues agree its brilliant. Whats the problem?

Only use WhatsApp for contact or offered as one of the ways to contact?
Personally speaking for meets, I'm happy to be contacted by phone, text or WhatsApp but I only use WhatsApp for paid chat sessions and pics. It's just easier to send pics that way and people can delete everything after if they want. Which is also why I guess people can use WhatsApp to scam I suppose.

Clients don't do their research on reputable providers but it's WhatsApp that's the problem? If you don't use your common sense, scammers will get you any way they can, not just WhatsApp.

I quite like it, and I've never had a problem using WhatsApp. It enables me to see them if that have a peifle pic, see when they've rea dmy message etc.
I think you'll get time wasters using all form of contact surely?

I'm happy with either WhatsApp or SMS contact?
I'm not sure why WhatsApp would be considered sketchy at all? I'd prefer that over emails any day!

A large percentage of my meets and all of my chat sessions are organised via WhatsApp. I'm not sure why people have such an issue with it

None of the ladies at our agency have any problem using WhatsApp, since it is essentially just a different form of SMS on a phone.
There may be a slightly greater percentage of timewasters who use it relative to text messages, but the difference is hardly significant. When it does happen, this is down to there being a lot more international numbers contacting us from WhatsApp, from blokes who are thousands of miles away looking to chitchat and clearly not being anywhere near us (with the odd clear exception obviously).
