A pause for thought..

I'd like to share some thoughts and hear from others about why we do this and what it says about us. No trolling please, just a piece of honest reflection. By way of background, I've probably had nearly a thousand punts over 30 years so am speaking with some experience (master of understatement too..)

First some observations (mine, not necessarily fact)..

Soft porn generally leads to harder porn..
Using WGs over time leads down a similar path.. Hand relief then OW then covered sex then OWO etc.. final port is bareback in all holes for what I'd guess is a very small minority of the punting population.
Most WGs don't like the work but find the money irresistible compared to the average unskilled hourly rate.

Now the heavier stuff...

Some WGs are coerced and/or trafficked. We might not be able to judge which ones..
Some WGs have serious drug and mental health issues. We might not know which ones though could hazard a guess..
The majority of women, inc WGs, don't like anal, multiple partners per day or sleeping with strangers.
Most WGs don't orgasm however much we like to kid ourselves.
Most WGs do it to survive and feed themselves and their kids.

What about us punters?

We're 'front brain' driven, adrenaline junkies. Our cerebral brain gets crowded out when the blood rushes to our dicks.
Some punters like women and try to treat WGs with respect. Terms like 'pump and dump' are disrespectful and misogynistic.
The punters that 'care' reassure themselves that the WGs they choose are all independent women making a rational economic choice (these women are also the ones who tend to orgasm ;) )
A lot of punters like themselves less after a punt than before.

Possible conclusions

We need to choose our WGs very carefully and respect what they do for us (the unhappy ones are a clue in themselves)
We need to stop and ask ourselves from time to time, is this healthy and does it make me happier or sadder? If the latter, then find another hobby.
If you truly enjoy punting, are discerning enough to spot the 'lifestyle choice' ladies over the desperate or coerced and can protect your loved ones from your 'hobby', then carry on.

I believe also it is a complicated reason why we do it.
We should probably have a strong internal word as to why we do it but yeah I guess it is risky and bloody expensive, full stop.
